Well, there I was sitting on my bum on my chair listening to lovely 'live' music. It was amazingly just how I imagined listening to a 'live' chicken. Cept, of course, it sounded good and I didn't get to taste it.
So, Im there thinking. Like I try to do when I try.
I end up buying the CD. It was by Chris Tejcek and the album was called Two Feathers. I couldn't find it on youtube so here's his myspace.
Cause there's some songs of his on there, eh?

I like it.
Anyhow.
(How great?! - I carn't find it on youtube!)

Oh! Yum. Prawns.
I had a display night on yesterday. Night. That goes shite as per the usual so I come home feeling slightly less dejected than one may think becuase I had already buggered off and listened to my sad (but still very new - shazam!) music. (And nicked into the art rooms again to have a look at art and generaly act and feel deeper than when I whisked myself through before with a friend). It was closed. I think.
Instead of supporting my peers.
I'd only heard all their peices five time.
That day.
I get home. Not too bad - around 9:30. Whilst driving home the other occupants in the car remark on how many people are prawning (and assumedly how many prawns there must be). It was to be fatal. Remarks were made to my dear father.
'Would you like to come with me to look at the lake/prawns?'
'Ok - let me get some green tea/caffiene into me first'
Before I know it in go the nets, out comes the lamp and the bucket appears seemingly out of nowhere. I am in the closest thing to shorts (three quater length pants) that I have and off we go. We get there after the grand total of five whole minuites. I get out with travel mug in hand (I wasn't leaving without one of my latest fads - green tea) to go and peer in the completely dark lake.
'What are you doing?'
'eh?'
'Put the mug away! How are you going to be able to carry the nets and all the rest of it with a mug in your hand?'
The mug and my sanity are placed back in the comforting darkness that now was the car. I take a net and quickly nick the bucket before I got stuck with the lamp.
(The lamp is heavy, you carn't rest it against your leg becuase of the intense heat and for some reason floating it on the water to relieve the weight just isn't on. All in all - the bucket is best.)
We go into the water (which was amazing for my two mozzie bites) but still shockingly cold. I carnt see anything but my father is going:
'Looke - did you see that one? It was right in front of you! That was a whopper! Wow - they're everywhere!'
'No. I carnt see anything. Nothing at all.'
'Look at the border of the light.
In the water'
'I got that one, thanks.'
Then I do start to see and they are everywhere. So, we start with catching them. The little ones were slipping through the nets
('I probably haven't prawned for ten years. I didn't check the nets either!'....in our defense we have been overseas)
But slowly we get the idea. The bigger one seem to stick to the bottom... Which is probably what made them the big ones.
We got just over a kilo of prawns for an hour. They really were everywhere.
All in all it was quite fun. I had a great time. It was Tuesday. It was midnight. I'm not as dead as I thought I was going to be. I'm doing it again tonight.
(Which should be amazing for my twenty mozzie bites)

It is seeming that eyes like the making playlist eye dears.
So lets try another one!

Lets try my VERY limited knowledge of some of the older rock 'n' roll. Or something from around that crowd.
Hhmm.
Try:
1. Aint She Sweet - Beb Bernie and His Hotel Roosevelt Orch (very 20s!)
2. Be Bop a Lula - Gene Vincent
3. Don't Be Cruel - Elivs
4. Blueberry Hill - Fats Domino
5. You've Really Got A Hold On Me - The Miracles
6. Money (thats what I want) - Barret Strong
7. Roll over Beethoven - Chuck Berry
And that, oh my brothers, is the best I can do from my very limited knowledge. I had fun. Toi?
