Saltwater

Okay, me quickly doing my green thing. Very quickly I might add. I agree. It's a nice song and has a grat message. I was playing it on the guitar last night. We had guests over (who I didn't love, lets say) and one was all ' I like this one, Saltwater.... er... by ' and I couldn't help it, i had to.

' Julian Lennon'

Looking up from guitar not saying anything else while playing it, feeling very snobish and supremely better than them just because I knew the artist. They should have known. Then her husband goes:

' Never heard of it.'

As far as I was concerned he just insulted himself so there was no need to press that agrument. I know I shouldn't've felt so utterly above them. I also know that I wouldn't make any friends, but really, friends? With them? I was safe even if it meant in the future I might end up stuck in a room full of people full of hatred. I will live....

Well, you are

Descended of animals,
Constructed of chemicals.
The one thing
you carn't have
You like too much
You can look
but you can not touch

How was your christmas?
my dears?

Im in the dining room waiting for my dear friends the anti-evils to finish their wonderfully helpful (and rather defencive) thing.

Wooh, it's a rush of revitalised Kaiser Chief enthusiasm. Yeah, man. Suddenly it's all ' yay!' again. I always liked Kaiser Chiefs but I listened to their other two albums so much that I had to stop because five months later having not listened to one of their songs once, I still knew all the lyrics and the timing with it. Now I can learn these ones!

Important question that must be viewed and contemplated by any really grand musicain (I think): ' Do I (or don't I) write a christmas song?'
Some of the greats have, obviously. And if it's as great as their reputation and other music is then that's wonderful. But take a minuite to think of all those amazingly embarassing cock ups that have gone on in the excuse of christmas spirit?
It's a question.

Now you tell me who made a complete arse of themselves?
Not saying it was a neccessarily bad song (everyone is going to have a different say on that anyway) but maybe christmas spirit is not always so goode?

War is over (if you want it)

Like It Too Much

Guess what I got for Christmas! And, for everyone out there, it's wonderful!

Im Invinsible!

You know how everyone congrats you on when you dress well?
Why?
Is it that hard?
I think I should be congrats on when I come out wearing something amazingly terrible. Its a lot harder to go out into the public domain in something that you know makes you looke shit. When you already knows it makes you looke as good as its going to get without hired help do you really need to be verbaly rewarded?
I think not!
Anyhow, I developed a tallent for it. Right down to trying to stuff all my (now shorter) hair under a cap. No, not my lovely bakers boy hat (because that is publicly acceptable cause it can deal with it) but a cap. It doesnt stay in and after walking/running on the beach with a dog it's scary.
I should have got verbally rewarded for going up and asking for a CD when looking like that. It was a lot harder than if I was wearing something gear and lovely. Especialy with my bakers boy on. I can do anything (to a limit) with my bakers boy on.
I like to think.
Some reason no one else seems to realise. I got asked if I was 'alright?' in Woolys. No, not the 'alright.?' which just means 'hiya' the 'alright?' which means 'are you lost lovey?'. AND I was wearing my bakers boy. Any other time I would have been fine when being asked if Im lost in the pasta section but when Im 'invinsibile'?! (Like Boris in that James Bond movie.)
I would like to think not!

Little Wing

No reason in particular. Just because that was what I was listening to just now and it just finis. So I felt I should start it again.

Hello, my dearest

Well, there I was sitting on my bum on my chair listening to lovely 'live' music. It was amazingly just how I imagined listening to a 'live' chicken. Cept, of course, it sounded good and I didn't get to taste it.
So, Im there thinking. Like I try to do when I try.
I end up buying the CD. It was by Chris Tejcek and the album was called Two Feathers. I couldn't find it on youtube so here's his myspace.
Cause there's some songs of his on there, eh?
http://www.myspace.com/christejcekmusic
I like it.
Anyhow.
(How great?! - I carn't find it on youtube!)
Shazam.

I think I love you.

Isn't that what life is made of?

Right.

Well, I thought now might be a time to rant.

Well, I saw Twilight. As everyone else is talking about it I might as well go ahead. Well, I found it better than I thought it would be worse than it was. It was a lot better than I thought it was going to be. Where was Bella feeling like she wasn't worthy for Edward, though? hhmm? I thought that she kept on going on about how she wasn't good enough for him? Well? I couldn't see it.

Personaly the worst bits for me where the scenes that had been taken from the trailer. There left on suspense for the only sense which could have done with them. Atleast it would have helped. Instead I end up waiting for the car to almost run into her. Nice.

What else has happened to me?

I could get eaten by an elephant.
No.
No elephant near by.
Five minutes in a car and there's a field of caramels.
That would be true tragedy.
Eaten by herbivores.
What would that make you?
Green.
One way to get into the party.

Fucking 5%.
Hate it.

What will happen to me?

I could do could's if you're low on ideas.

I would laugh at SA for being in such a deficit (carn't remember exactly how much) but I live in NSW. Yeah, burn, you say. Please tell me how come labor is still 'in' in NSW. How is that even possible? Do people just say 'well, i voted for them last time' cause look at the state. (I can say this as people wont actualy allow me to vote. Otherwise I would. So either way I can complain). If they get it next time then the ads are right and the world is officialy mad.
Completely.

I went out in the boat and now everything is rocking. Everything. I mean my head is rocking, the screen is rocking, my chair is rocking which is making my bum rock. Everything. I know, I know. Its definitely not my first time. But Im completely knackered. And dad was all 'Im going to let you drive so you can get used to it'. They forgot to put on the glasses condition on my liscense so I don't bother. I get someone to tell me where the markers are. I know I shouldn't but I do. I really hate my glasses and when I sugested getting Buddy Holly glasses they wouldn't let me. In the end I didn't get any but they wouldn't let me get any (when I was going to get them) that even slightly reminded me of Buddy Holly. Why? What is this? What is wrong with gear glasses? I liked them! Isn't that what it's all meant to be about? I thought that was all that mattered. Well, obviously I got all those motivational videos they made us watch wrong.

'Sticks and stones and animal bones' ? I like it. Rings in your head.
Okay, everything rings in my head at the mo. Kinda rocks actualy.

My brother asked what high meant today. I don't ever remember asking anyone.

'Love is like Oxygen
You get too much you get too high
Not enough and you're gonna die
Love gets you high'

I had it on in the boat. Along with a couple other ones.
Who doesn't like The Ramones?
..okay i think I could figure it out. But this?

It's cute. I think.

Appartently it disturbed the fish.
I became the excuse for why the fish weren't biting. Not having any fishing skills was not a possibility.

Oh, and while we're on the subject. Marc Bolan?
I like it.

Maybe not as cute. I still like it though.

Thats all from me folks. Im starting to get a bit dangerous and don't want to hit my head.

How Gear?

Me too.

I choose my friends by their good looks, my acquaintances for their characters and my enemies for their intellects. A man cannot be too careful of his choice of enemies.

Lord Henry.

The most wonderful character!
Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde. He is delightful and delights in paradoxes. He also (that is Wilde) has a amazing ability to turn things that we know are wrong quite right and lovely in the process.

"He is always late on principle, his principle being that punctuality is the theif of time"

"To lose one parent may be regarded as misfortune; to lose both looks like carelessness"
(This is not said by Lord Henry or in Picture of Dorian Gray but is by Oscar Wilde)

"Oh, brothers! I don't care for brothers! My elder brother wont die, and my younger brothers seem never to do anything else"

"In art, as in politics, les grandpéres ont toujours tort."

"It is a sad truth, but we have lost the faculty of giving lovely names to things. Names are everything. I never quarrel with actions. My one quarrel is with words. The man who could call a spade a spade should be compelled to use one. It is the only thing he is fit for."

"I fancy the true explanation is this. It often happens that the real tragedies of life occur in such an inartistic manner that they hurt us by their crude violence, their absolute incoherence, their absurd want of meaning, their entire lack of style. They affect us just as vulgarity affects us. They give us an impression of sheer brute force, and we revolt against that. Sometimes, however, tragedy that pocesses artistic elements of beauty crosses our lives. If these elements of beauty are real, the whole thing simply appeals to our dramatic effect. Suddenly we find we are no longer the actors, but the spectators of the play. Or rather we are both. We watch ourselves, and the mere wonder of the spectacle enthralls us."

Read Picture of Dorian Gray. It is wonderful.

As you see.

"The nice part about being a pessimist is that you are constantly being either proven right or pleasantly surprised. "
- George F. Will

Kissing Contest

This was the best I could find.
Watch and then I will tell you the story. (If I can remember, Eurovision was a while ago now.)

Okii. This is how it goes (off the top of my head).

In this year's Eurovision Song Contest before the contestants came on a postcard (vidoe with writing in their language) came up with something from Belgraid that they had in common with that country...

One was that this contortionist wanted to travel all over europe and was going to fit into a box (whicht they showed us) and her friends would post her to denmark or some such place.

For Greece we were told about this story:

Every year in the south of where-ever there is a kissing contest and the couple we were just watching won this year! Congrats!
From what I heard they didn't plan to stop the punishing regime of training.
Then again, a lot can happen in relationships in time.

The Universal

Can you decide which is best?
I know I carn't.

Exhibit A.
The Small Faces.

I know it's my fav rave of theirs.

Exhibit B
Blur.

What do you do?
This is my fav rave Blur song!

Really?

Yeah, I heard someone saw Miss G..... with a boyfriend!

Eurghhh.
Arrghh.
Eeeek.

What year was he in?

(I meant age - you know that!
No, we don't. Actualy.)

Try not to, I don't recommend it.

Let your clouds out. They don't like staying inside too long. They get a bit restless, I find.

Yes,

I am stealing from you again, Catlinda. But only becuase I quoted it to Emily and she obviously hadn't watched it. Somehow mumbling 'whenever I'm nearter the theatre' then quietly laughing isn't that great for everyone else. Specialy when they don't get it...

(It was Rick Mayall, by the way...)

She Talks In The Stereo

Yay! I like it!

Love.

If this can make you not hate John maybe it can make you not be cranky with me?

I do realise that is just about the soul reason. But, please try this:

I listen to this when I'm very tired and sad and it's miraculous. I always get Alice In Wonderland pictures in my head. Myabe I could get two reason for NOT hating him?
I don't know.

You've Really Got a Hold On Me

It's a great song and She and Him do a great cover of it! Lovely lovely and I found myself singing along to it. No, no one else was in the room. Don't worry.

Not that it seems to stop me.

Just beacuse

I like her hair.

I Hereby...

Oh.

I just realised.
We're commuinicating through the wonders of blog.

I have one aswell

It's on my wall. I tooke it myself. This reminded that to me.

Looke at me.

Just because I didn't write it doesn't mean I can't feel it.

I Wandered Lonely As A Cloud

I WANDERED lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o'er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.

Continuous as the stars that shine
And twinkle on the milky way,
The stretched in never-ending line
Along the margin of a bay:
Ten thousand saw I at a glance,
Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.

The waves beside them danced; but they
Outdid the sparkling waves in glee;
A poet could not but be gay,
In such a jocund company;
I gazed -- and gazed -- but little thought
What wealth to me the show had brought:

For oft, when on my couch I lie
In vacant or in pensive mood,
They flash upon that inward eye
Which is the bliss of solitude;
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils.

My favourite of his so far.

On a slightly lighter mood (if it csn be so)

I Sat Belonely

I sat belonely down a tree, humbled fat and small. A little lady sing to me I couldn't see at all.

I'm looking up and at the sky, to find such wonderous voice. Puzzly, puzzle, wonder why, I hear but I have no choice.

'Speak up, come forth, you ravel me', I potty menthol shout. 'I know you hiddy by this tree'. But still she won't come out.

Such sofly singing lulled me sleep, an hour or two or so I wakeny slow and took a peep and still no lady show.

Then suddy on a little twig I thought I see a sight, A tiny little tiny pig, that sing with all it's might

'I thought you were a lady', I giggle,-well I may, To my surprise the lady, got up-and flew away.

If you don't know who wrote either of those then go and looke them up. You should know. You will also looke very cultered once you do know.

Sorry

Everyone else can just go away. Sorry, everyone. But you can. Goodbye.

To The One Who Goes By the Name of Catty

(For anyone who is really nosey and doesn't know when to stop: Be amused by this....
- Oldest trick in a rather new booke)

Anyway.

What I am trying (and failing desperately at) is to say sorry.
Im not completely sure why or what but that doesn't really matter.
Sorry.
Have you been emailing me?
Have I not been getting your emails?
Or have you been ignoring me?
Am I the one who hasn't been responding to you?
Im sorry I was 'snarky' and all that crowd.
I didn't mean it. Honest.
I only thought that to just commuinicate through blogs would be terrible because it's not very personal. I'm not going to say exactly what I think about everything on my blog. I'll try but I would rather just share it with people who I know I can trust, understand and hopefully laugh with me about it later.
You see, the thing is last year, way back in Sing I wasn't so 'eurgh' as I am now. I'm much more moody, 'snarky' and generaly have mood swings. I go through mini depressions which you jokingly called 'creative depression'. I don't think I can give myself that credit but I would like it if you would forgive me and talk to me. Maybe even like me again. I would appreciate it.
So now I say 'Adieu' and bid you goodnight. Maybe on the morrow you would deign to talk to me?
It would be awfully nice. Anyroad. I shall get by. But let you know that it would be a much nicer existance with you influencing it.
I hope you are alright. No life threatening diseases? We can wish for the best.
I hope I haven't done any of those 'you did it something terrible and I do believe you don't even realise it' and I don't. I apologise in advance.

Now.

Do you recognise this?

I put it on here only a day or two ago.
