Snow Pea (Flower)

Last Night

Last night I had a dream about you and you weren't very nice.

I can't shout at you (becuase you didn't really do it) or scream or tell you "I hate you!" but ever since I woke up and remembered, I've trusted you a bit less.

(This is why I didn't talk to you all today.)

Although you're still my friend and you've done nothing wrong, my dream can't be a complete lie. I'd just like to point out now that when something does happen (and I'm sure it will) I knew deep inside all along. So when I shout "I never trusted you!" or "I knew I never should have trusted you!" or even just "I hate you!" I really did know.

This is proof that I did. Even if I do forget, about the dream and my mistrust, I'll remember when it (whatever it may be) happens and know I was right. However much I liked you and never saw any reason to doubt you (or your character) before last night.

But, as they say, I have to trust in myself. I have a deep seated conviction that my dream was right and I'm sorry but in my eyes you are less of a person for what you did last night.

Huffing Kittens...

“I love those orange ones - they let me see through my hand.”
~ Oscar Wilde on Kitten Huffing

'The orange ones fuck you up REAL good."

“In Soviet Russia, kittens huff you!”
~ Russian Reversal on Kitten Huffing

Kitten huffing is a controversial practice that has recently been growing as a popular alternative to street drugs. Despite a long history in Western culture, the practice remains largely taboo. Excessive huffing has been known to produce undesirable side effects, and kitten-related human fatalities. Even unapologetically frequent huffers caution against using more than two or three kittens per day.

The 'cupped hands approach', developed by the Marquess of Queensberry as a remedy for the pain of head injuries sustained while boxing, has come to be the dominant huffing technique in Europe and the Americas. Other techniques are generally avoided by all but expert huffers and even experts tend to avoid techniques involving rolled up dollar bills, as the kittens tend to clog. Kittens that have already been huffed are reffered to as "Depleted". Long-term storage or disposal of depleted kittens has posed a problem for some urban areas. Contrary to popular belief, however, depleted kittens are not permanently depleted, as the actual soul regenerates the protective layer which actually inspires euphoria every year, although the actual rate of regeneration veries from breed to bread.

Has this suddenly become very relevant?

I found Georgia I found Georgia

(quoted from:)
Dear Son,
Just a few lines to let you know I'm still alive. I'm writing this letter slowly because I know you can't read fast. We are all doing very well. You won't recognise the house when you get home - we have moved. Your dad read in the newspaper that most accidents happen within 20 miles from your home, so we moved. I won't be able to send you the address because the last Irish family that lived here took the house numbers when they moved so that they wouldn't have to change their address.
This place is really nice. It even has a washing machine. I'm not sure it works so well though: last week I put a load in and pulled the chain and haven't seen them since.
Your father's got a really good job now. He's got 500 men under him. He's cutting the grass at the cemetery.Your sister Mary had a baby this morning but I haven't found out if it's a boy or a girl, so I don't know whether you are an auntie or an uncle.
Your brother Tom is still in the army. He's only been there a short while and they've already made him a court martial!Your Uncle Patrick drowned last week in a vat of whiskey in the Dublin Brewery. Some of his workmates tried to save him but he fought them off bravely. They cremated him and it took three days to put out the fire.
I'm sorry to say that your cousin Seamus was arrested while riding his bicycle last week. They are charging him with dope peddling.I went to the doctor on Thursday and your father went with me. The doctor put a small tube in my mouth and told me not to talk for ten minutes. Your father offered to buy it from him.
The weather isn't bad here. It only rained twice this week, first for three days and then for four days. Monday was so windy one of the chickens laid the same egg four times.
We had a letter from the under-taker. He said if the last payment on your Grandmother's plot wasn't paid in seven days, up she comes.About that coat you wanted me to send you, your Uncle Stanley said it would be too heavy to send in the mail with the buttons on, so we cut them off and put them in the pockets.
John locked his keys in the car yesterday. We were really worried because it took him two hours to get me and your father out.Three of your friends went off a bridge in a pick-up truck. Ralph was driving. He rolled down the window and swam to safety. Your other two friends were in back. They drowned because they couldn't get the tailgate down.
There isn't much more news at this time. Nothing much has happened.
Your loving Mum
P.S. I was going to send you some money but I had already sealed the envelope.

In my day...

I BOUGHT MY FIRST RECORD!!!!!!!! (S)

I can now officialy say when I'm old and decrepid:

"In my day.... (oh! are you my children? no? good.) in my day I bought my first record for one dollar, and by god it was good! I can't remember whether it was Abba, the South Pacific Soundtrack or James Bond To Russia With Love, but dear me(!) they were good! ... Mind you, I didn't have a record player.... got one of them in '23, i believe - Maya! DId I get one in '23 or '33?"
"Love, it's '35 now!"
"Must have been '32, then"

And then I hope I'll be cool enough to go:

"Fuck it though, please help me up."

Smile, kid.

I run up on Monday and cry "Amy! Amy! Guess what I have!"
"What?"
"Eurovision songs!"
"Anyone else but you and I would have been surprised".
Ohhhh! That hurt!
She has a habite of calling me "kid" "kiddo" and "child" i don't really mind it but she was doing ti so subconciously that she didn't believe me untll she said it a minuite later and ten minutes after that ... and I found out she'd been holding back as it is.
I may be a year younger but I didn't "start school when I was two"
in jokes hurt.

The Earth IS Flat!

Isaac Asimov:
[W]hen people thought the Earth was flat, they were wrong. When people thought the Earth was spherical they were wrong. But if you think that thinking the Earth is spherical is just as wrong as thinking the Earth is flat, then your view is wronger than both of them put together.

Wow.

I found this through several links.
Don't look at it iof you're in a serious-take-offence-at-anything mood. Anyway, It's too funny when you're not.
Look at this
I found it funny.
Don't look if you take your Twilight serious.

A little taste, maybe?

James is the sneaky guy that looks like the follower of the 3 but is the LEADER. Psyche!

He is hot. And a tracker! SMeyer remembered she created special "gifts" for some of the vampires, so she chucks that into the mix. He will ALWAYS be able to find whatever he's hunting. DUN DUN DUUUUUUN! The Cullens chase them off, but they'll be back, you'll see. YOU'LL ALL SEE!!!

Alice freaks and gets a vision of a dance studio. ...and James! Time to force some more plot into the mix! Alice and Jasper (because he can keep, like, Bella all mellow and stuff. Put on the B side to Led Zep IV and just let the sensations wash over you, man) take Bella to Phoenix - where the dance/ballet studio is - because James is gonna get her mom! That couldn't be a ruse could it?

Bella is stupid, though, and doesn't believe that the vampires with special superpowers can save her from Brad Pitt Lite, and she doesn't understand fake outs, so she sneaks away to force her character into peril, hoping the audience will give a shit. And then it is ON like RED DAWN, y'all! Dance Battle in Phoenix!

James spirit fingers Bella's ass into the glass and breaks her leg, taping the whole thing to make Edward ka-ray-zee with rage so THEY can fight. *head desk*

Well, there you go. Watch the movie again. Maybe you've found a few more cringes to add to your list?

Expectations

Can you get any sound out of this? When I tried I couldn't. Anyway, love the song. Its a fad. Emily do you have this? If you do could I please have it? We need to get together again before you go. Could you do a CD, if you have time? I REALLY need another CD with good music on it! Im sinking into the oblivion of songs played over and over and a hundred times over (although admittedly still good). AND you can give me the other happy sigur ros song! If you ever get bored, maybe... in the next seven days.

Sunshine

Did you notice the monkey?

I've Thought

I've thought about an idea
From the inside of my head
Where every single colour
Has it's own thread

It's a great idea
But I carn't fully tell
Because then you may tell
And get all the praise aswell

Don't be sad, about my idea
it's too good for you
No one would believe
you made it up too

They'd recognise the idea
And be sure it was mine
So I wouldn't have to worry
Because it would be fine

Everyone will like my idea
If I can ever tell it
I'd like to shout it now
But you could catch it

I could put my idea
In writing, of course
But can you read?
Would you steal the source?

But my fine idea
I know it is the best
But it could get lost out there
Along with the rest

So I won't say my idea
Though it's amazing, really
But I can't share it with you
I just have this feeling

K. M. Rogers

Troggs

I think the Christmas Season is also a secret breeding season. Man, I mean it. But not how you think I mean it. Normaly you come across one, maybe two iijits on the road in a city on an average car trip. Suddenly as Christmas arrives it's two in two minuites. And you haven't finis counting. Ouch!

You have the whole car swearing at these people hating their guts. That is, if the oppupants are over a certain age. After driving over six hours in the car today, I stopped counting.

Im sorry, Im complaining. (Is that how you speel it?)

I like Giants.
